Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer who is gaining recognition for her outstanding performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. The film Piano has won several awards for her which included an Oscar. Her career began as an actor on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. From the time she was a child she's been passionate in the field of acting. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school production. Following a bout of mumps, she became deaf on one side the ear. But, it did not stop her ambition to pursue a career as an actress. In her teens She studied acting and eventually moved in New York City. Hunter was introduced to Beth Henley by chance in a lift. Together, they wrote Broadway Crimes of the Heart. It was Hunter's acting debut. The first time she appeared in a film was after she relocated from Los Angeles. Holly Hunter has been in several films, TV series and movies over the course of a 30 year career. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
